Kids and I had dinner today. Haven’t been here in a while! Magnolia and the wait staff were great and the food was outstanding!!! Almost too generous of portions! Lol Thanks for taking good care of us and see ya soon!

We first tried the food truck then decided to check out the restaurant. You got fast friendly service and the prices are very reasonable. We live about twenty miles away, but we will definitely be back!

We had the chicken and steak fajita special for $12.99 each. Holy guacamole!! IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN, RUN DON'T WALK. Some of the yummiest in all of McHenry County. People were super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Daily specials are affordable, yummy and plentiful. Gracias!!

Our favorite restaurant! We always come for taco Tuesday cuz the tacos are $1.99 everything is so delicious. The guacamole is fresh and it’s the best I’ve had! The tamales are so hot and flavorful, definitely recommend! The staff is kind, they know us now since we come in every week

I am visiting McHenry for work and will be in town a lot during the next few months. I was looking to find some quality Mexican food in the area and this was an absolute success. I just finished eating my carry out order from El Vado and had to share my experience. Upon entering I was immediately greeted and taken care of by a very friendly and helpful staff member (I did not get his name but the receipt says Aleksy so I am assuming that was him). I placed an order for a steak burrito dinner to go and a side of chips and salsa. I didn’t realize that Mondays were burrito dinner night ($9.99 as opposed to the usual $14.99). Food came out quick and hot. I got back to my hotel and enjoyed every bite. It’s a huge portion of food and a great deal regardless of the day you go but definitely on Mondays. The chips and salsa were also good and fresh. The vibe inside the restaurant was nice. Dimly lit, lots of booth seating or table seating, good music, great food and great people. I will be back.

Great authentic atmosphere, attentive and polite servers throughout the establishment. Friendly. Ordered a Steak Burrito dinner with a Taco with everything on it. Came out better than I expected with huge proportional. Only come here when you're hungry or you won't finish. Definitely will be returning here more often for great food.

This restaurant has the best food. Our server Aleksy was so kind and he is so patient when we order over the phone! Great customer service, outstanding food. They will recommend specialties. If you don’t like spicy food, they will accommodate you. The food is so tasty!!!! Highly recommend.
